Support CTHS

The Society is a non-profit organization that relies on the public to support our efforts,
through memberships, volunteer time, and donations.  We appreciate those who send
in their annual dues regularly, our volunteers without whom we could not exist, and the
donations of many who give generously.

What we do:

We maintain an extensive collection of artifacts, books, photographs, and papers at the
Virginia Merion DeNenno History and Education Center in the Pierce-Willits House,
which we are cataloging for future reference.

We are stewards for that site as well as that of the Pole Cat Road House, our founding
symbol, and provide necessary maintenance to preserve these important historic properties.

We share our local history with the public through this website, tours at the Pierce-Willits
house, lecture programs, and our annual Scholarship Award to a graduating senior at Garnet Valley.
